Also known as temporomandibular disorders (TMD), TMD are disorders of the jaw muscles, temporomandibular joints, and the nerves associated with chronic facial pain. Some symptoms include pain in your face, jaw joint area, around the ear when you open your mouth or chew food, jaws that get stuck when open or closed, clicking sounds in the jaw joint and an uncomfortable bite. If you suspect you may have TMD, you may visit our clinic for a detailed examination and assessment. Upon confirmation, we will recommend different treatment depending on the severity.
